Well, you saw what happened with Nintendo, Square ditched them when Nintendo backed out of the deal for the "Nintendo Playstation" The day before it was to be announced.
However, I think that Square will be aqquired by Microsoft for Bill's first child, something he'll readily sacrifice. Is much as I want to see it, it's not gonna happen

um just a note, square signed a deal with nintendo last week or so.
It was more like a few months ago, but everyone knew Square was planning on doing the next 3 FFs for at least 2 of the big 3, even before GC came out.

ummm...read the news ppl, square will make games for GBA and Gamecube but mainly games for PS2. And I HIIIIIGHLY doubt they wil make games for Microsoft, but still, u can get most FF games on PC later
