I have a SOYO 24" DYLM24D6 that has this weird issue that if I had it on for over 10minutes or so and if I were to shut it off, I'd have to wait 5-10 minutes or it won't turn on.

It'll power on, but the picture would flash for a split second and turn back off. I shined a flashlight into it to see if it's just the backlight, but I'm not even seeing a faint image to indicate that it's just the backlight.

I'm guessing it might be a capacitor or something that needs to cool down if it's charged up too much before it can work again, but I'm pretty clueless about circuits and stuff.

Any EE gods out there?
