Never bought a game because it costs too much? Well, no worry!
A MMORPG is coming out that doesn't need ANY paying subscription, what's next? The game has fenomenal graphics and is made by ex-employees from Blizzard entertainment.
Here's the faq:
http://www.guildwars.com/faq/default.html
And naturally the site itself:
http://www.guildwars.com/default.html
Will there be a monthly fee for Guild Wars?
No, there will not be a monthly subscription fee of any kind, anywhere.

Sounds interesting. I think it would be best not to get ones hopes up though..who knows how good the servers will be if there is no monthly fee. I am slightly optimistic though, since it mentions there are people working on it who were behind the battle.net gaming network...a very good free service that Blizzard games are run on.

The E3 beta preview was AWESOME. You MUST buy this game if you are a fan of Diablo 2/Dungeon Siege or MMORPGs

The servers will be fine even though they wont take monthly fee, but they will release expansions every 6-9 months. If you dont want you may not buy them, but each will feature as much content as it will at the first release.
Visit guildwars.com for more info on new Wolrd Preview Event like E3.

I have been stuck with dial up after being on cable for so long, so I just boycotted the internet altogether. The dial up should be a thing of the past pretty soon (let's cross our fingers). I plan on writing a few reviews so you will see me around a bit more! Sure glad to you and the other familiar faces on the board!
