Why do I only find crappy items in MF runs?

could be coz youre unlucky :-( or maybe you got to much mf .My ama lvl88 has only 350 mf and merc 300 mf and i find uber things all the time from ,andy,duriel,meph,diablo,baal,.You should maybe try some of the other bosses they can also give uber items coz ive tried pindle lots times and got no good from him but maybe my luck isnt good with him:-(( As to other question ive not had much luck there either at helforge but have found good runes at other random places in game .Ps. you dont say what level u mf on or what lvl youre char is coz tht can also be a factor in finding good:-)

My sorc is lvl. 88. Total I think i've done like 5.000 mfruns total throughout the entire game!

I got 726% mf on me and 200% on my merc. Why the **** do I only find crappy items, if I find any items at all?
I do pindle and meph runs, but the best I've ever found is a Mara's 29% and 2x Azurewrath swords.
With that high mf I should find all them ûber items, and not the crap I usually end up with.
Also on hellforge, why do I only get crap? Best rune I got from hellforge ( or any place in the game ) is a Gul rune!! I got at least 20 chars that I've done Hellforge Hell on, so should I not get any good runes?

I will try to keep flame to the lowest, but I think you are either an idiot or a fool trying to show-off. First of all, any MF % higher than 400 is consider pretty decent. 926% is godly MF, so yes, you should be expecting to find all the good items. However, what I need to stress more is that the 29% Mara's Keidoscope is not a "crappy" item at all. If that is crappy, then I'm afraid there is nothing better. The max attribule for Mara's is +2 Skill/+5 all stats/+30 all resist. The one you got is a 29% which is nearly perfect. Such amulet would still worth from an IST to 2ISt depending on your luck during trading. As for Azurewrath, it is actually a good item. It is not good relatively because there's now gay-@ss "runeword" like Botd, Beast, Doom.

Runewords are made out of runes... so now we're onto the runes you've found. Gul rune is the highest runes your found in hellforge is because, IT IS THE HIGHEST RUNEWORD THAT YOU CAN FIND IN HELLFORGE IN HELL DIFFICULTY... You can never recieve any runeword better than Gul out of Hellforge. The runeword drop range for hellforge in hell from "Hel" to "Gul". For rest of the higher runes you will need to find it @ other places. As for where, no one knows for sure, even if they know, they won't tell you. However, you do have to realize one key factor which is that rune drops is NOT effected by your MF. Regardless of the MF you have, you will not be guaranteed with rune drops.
-If you really want some runeword badly, you can try countess. Countess usually drops runes 99% of the time, but most of them are the lowest 10 runes. The highest I got from Countess is a Hel or Ko (I forgot). The highest I got from Hellforge is also Gul. The best Item I found by myself are Hoz, arachnid, Mara's, fathom, Shako.

Conclusion: The stuff you got are not crappy at all. They are the best you can ever get from MF in this game. If you want to get runewords like Zod, Jah, Ber, Cham, etc... you'll need luck and some trading experiences. i have been doing hell cows try there got ist rune and fal rune so far and they drop some unique stuff if u dont kill king better then u make password game so people dont steal all the drops also try mausoleum it also good mf place if like 3 people are in the game

OK Dude.. First of all 400 mf is not much.
Secondly. I did not say azurewrath and Mara's 29 was crappy items. But in like 5.000 runs I shouls find some better items, or more of the good ones.
Closest good items I got to those is Vipers, Ormus's and one Tal Amu. Never did find a Tal Armor.
I may have godly mf, but that would be because of LOTS of mf charms, and a 35% Gheeds.
I have also heard of Ist ++ that's been dropped on Hellforge in hell, so mostly of what u said is crap. Looks like you are the **** who is trying to tell ppl that u think you have ûber skills, whitch you dont.

Hmm have U ever tried baalruns? for me it did pretty good since baal drops pretty good.. I found ohm, Lo, ist and many other things at him in quite a short period of time.

And maybe U can try countess, she always drops runes.. ofcourse 95% of what she drops is crap but sometimes in a while she can drop a nice one..

Ow and I've heared from some guy that running the spiders cavern is kinda good... the treasure chest within the cave seems to drop a highrune once in a while. I never tried but it could be worth a shot.

U are right about ist dropping at hellforge, I once had 3 times ist in a row from the Forge.. But then again its all a matter of luck. U dont need a high mf for runes though.. its not a magical item or anything.

a few key things to remember:
- High MF doesn't guarantee all unique or all good item
- High MF also increase the chance of Rare and Magical and Set drops... therefore, it might interrupt your chance of getting uniques.
- Not all Act Bosses in all Difficulty drops everything. However, the ones that drops everything are Hell Cow King, Hell Baal, Hell Pindleskin, and Hell Diablo.
- Nm Andariel Drops Soj... only because Andariel in all difficulty (but its Nm because SOJ's ilvl is like 27?) have Ring Drop percentage of about 1.5%... therefore ring drop = higher chance of soj/bk/etc. drop...
- Hell Mephisto does not drop Death Fathom! and other high level items...
- Runes are not effected by MF, which is why people try cow levels. Quantitative over Qualitative....
- Sometimes you just cant find certain item... Some people might never found Tal Armor, and others may never found IK armor, but that's what makes this game fun...

You're MFing in the wrong place. Since you're passing up Azurewraths and Maras, the only thing left for you to do is Baal runs. Do enough of those and you'll have all of the rest of the items that you're probably looking for. A safe option is to run Pindle, but you got to figure that for every Baal run you do, it's like doing 8 or so Pindle runs in terms of drops. Plus you get experience.

MF has no effect on runes. If you're looking for runes with MF on, it's a fool's errand.

Also I think anything past 500 MF is overkill. Your return after 300 gets pretty crappy; it's more of a matter of how much damage you end up sacrificing.

But the time to do 1 Baal run is probably 10x the time for Pindle? 5 minutes versus 30 seconds...

I recommend one char open cow lvl, another kill Cow King. Drops of Cow King, Daiblo, Baal, Pindleskin are the same.

It's because you arent really getting crappy items...I WISH i could find maras.You are right you should be getting godlyy items if you truly arent with 950%.So either you are lieng trying to show off or the game hates you.

Then it is settled. The game hates me! I got my entire inventory filled with mf sc's, except for tomes with indentify and tp's. I also have a 7% all res sc. After all that I have 6 spaces open for items I find.
Gull dagger has a 9% mf charm in it, and of course I use skully and shako.

If you're trying to solo Baal, get a wand of LR. Use that against anything you come across that's CI. Most of the time you can get rid of immunities. Once those are off CM will tear the enemies down to nothing.

Also there's no point to having tomes. It's a waste of space. Instead of using a TP tome, put your TP scrolls in belt slot 4. I usually have all my inventory filled except for a 2x4 space and a place for my cube. If you're not hitting up special chests you can dump any keys you have too.

If you can get an ethereal Reaper's Toll. This weapon will make your merc's life easier, as well as make him kill things faster.

well I heared there is some chest in the arachnids lair in act 3.. a friend of mine found Ohm and cham from that chest... I never tried to do runs like that myself..but it could be worth a try.

Well Mfing is all about luck and timing and ur mf and ur lvl its reall compicated to know exactly wut to do with a mf sorc
