4 main servers, 2 of which are hosted by at&t. Then there are the other servers which the games are hosted on. But arent spam bots the ones in the channels? This guy was talking about the spam bots in channels, not during games.

the spambots have just plain gotten on everyone's nerves, but i never go to a chatroom in Bnet really,so i cant say for the whispers in chats.

Damn when Is B-net gonna do something about those constant lag's and connection failure's? Its seems the order of the day in 1.10. back in 1.09 things these things didnt happen.. what the bloody hell is wrong with b-net these days? I cant even make a normal mf-run or join a duel game without B-net screwing things up, yesterday that bloody lag costed me a arachnids.. damn I hate that dropping from game bull****.

And what is with those damn spambots? U cant even have a normal trade anymore without being terrorised by those damn bots from d2sale and team-vip or whatever other bloody commercial trading site. they even dare to send private messages now!! and its ollmost impossible to squelch those basterds cause they keep making those impossible char names!

ban? you don't think they don't get banned? that is pretty much what they get payed for. but, when they get banned, and get payed enough, they just make new accounts. unless they get cd key banned, and that rarely happens.

Got a great idea. Pick one spam bot and everyone spam messages to him about how stupid spam bots are and he won't be able to join any games or say anthing because he will be lagged out beyond comprehension. Think about what would happen if 200 people were constantly messaging you *shudders*.

I did notice something one day - I happened to be in act1 when I joined a baal run game and a spam bot snuck in. When he was in the middle of his spiel I clicked on him to trade. He proceeded to lag out. Something to try.

does squeltch last until you unsqueltch them? because, i squeltch, and i will see the same bot in another game and i can hear him..
