question about runewords

if i make a runeword that say has level 17 fanatiscm when equipped, and i have a paladin with level 20 fanat, will that add on to what i got, or just do nothing?

this will do nothing it will not add.u can either have ur pallys aura on or u can use the one from the wep

Since patch 1.1b, auras of the same type DO NOT stack. Blizz did this since people were stacking holy shock auras on their merc infinitley, creating auras that do ~100k dmg. Now, if you have 2 auras of the same type active, the strongest one will bbe used
