Here is what i recommend: (this gear is mostly high end and you might have trouble getting it)
Helm: Shako (cold/fire) Gryphons Eye (light)
Ammy: Maras/rare ammy/tals (if you cant get others)
Armor: COH, hands down/ tals armor if youre poor
Belt: string of ears (if youre poor) / arachs /tals
Gloves: Frostburn/Magefist(very good for fire sorc)
Boots; sandstorm trek/wartravs(for the mf)
Rings: 2xSOJ(if youre rich)/ raven frost(for dex and cbf) + Nagel/Rare ring(they can be very good, better than soj)
Weapon: Occy(starter, or general rounded weapon, ctc tele is annoying though)/Eschutas (light/fire)/ Fathom (hard to get)
Sheild: Spirit Monarch(cheap but needs alot of str) or Lidless(if youre poor or dont wanna put points into str)
